Options Window

In the Option window, available in the Edit menu, you can configure the Service Studio parameters described below.

Style sheet

Style sheet editor: An application that is launched when you want to edit a Mobile Web style sheet or Web style sheet. Learn more about style sheets.

Default value: C:\WINNT\notepad.exe

Hub Server Connection

Upload/Download timeout (secs): This indicates the maximum time that OutSystems Service Studio waits for the Upload / Download operations to complete. If, after this period, the operation has not yet finished an error message is presented and the Upload or Download operation fails. In this case, if you feel the value entered is appropriate, the problem may lie elsewhere and you should consult the System Administrator to determine whether there is a problem with the server.

Use proxy authentication: This is used when your proxy requires authentication.

Proxy user: The user name used in the proxy authentication.

Proxy password: The password of the user used in the proxy authentication.

You must set this option if the OutSystems Hub Server you are trying to connect has a proxy; otherwise it won't be possible to process your requests to this server.

Query Test

Returned Rows Limit: This indicates the maximum number of records fetched and displayed when testing a query.

Default value: 100.

Online Help

Use Online Help when connected: This indicates whether you want to use the Online Help available in the outsystems community, or the Local help packed with the version that you are using.

You may retrieve the initial defaults assigned to the parameters by pressing the Restore Defaults button, at the bottom right corner of the window.
